Microneedling uses a gentle oscillating hand held pen with the insertion of 16 very fine short needles into the sub-epidermal layers for skin rejuvenation. The fine needles create tiny punctures in the skin to help stimulate collagen and elastin production, blood circulation and tissue regeneration and help with product absorption.
These controlled punctures (micro-injuries) in the top layer of skin stimulates the body’s natural wound-healing process, boosting collagen and elastin production to reduce wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and improve skin texture. -
Microneedling is a versatile treatment that supports overall skin health by improving texture, refining pores, promoting even tone, reducing visible signs of aging, and enhancing the skin’s natural radiance. It effectively addresses acne scars, surgical scars, hair loss, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone (hyperpigmentation), enlarged pores, all while supporting the skin's repair process.

Improvements can be seen just days after the first treatment. Treatments occur once every 4-6 weeks as a series of 4-6 treatments. Results can last 3-5 years without maintenance.

No makeup for these treatments. You will have the ability to wash your face before the treatment begins.
Before your appointment, it's a good idea to have something to eat and reduce your caffeine intake, as caffeine can interfere with the effects of acupuncture and increase sensitivity to the needles. Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing that's easy to change in and out of. -
For the first 24 hours after treatment, your skin will likely be sensitive, so it's best to take it easy. Avoid sweating, as it can irritate your skin, so get your exercise in before treatment and limit it afterward. Stay out of the sun or keep the treated area well-covered, and use a mineral sunscreen in the following days. Avoid makeup or other products. If your skin appears to be peeling, it's likely just the serum drying and flaking off—apply a bit of water to help spread it out. Keep your skin hydrated with hyaluronic acid or the serum provided, especially before bed. Use only warm water, no facial soap, and you can return to your normal routine after 24 hours.

Microneedling is not suitable for pregnant patients or those with active acne, sunburn, or viral, bacterial, or fungal infections. It should be avoided by individuals with moderate-to-severe chronic skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis, as well as immunosuppressed patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy. Additionally, patients should avoid using topical acids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, waxing, or shaving the area for 48 hours before and after treatment. If you've had Botox or fillers, it's important to wait at least three weeks after your last treatment before undergoing microneedling.
